Course objectives:Programming and Process Foundation training provides the skills necessary to design and optimize a new product file and to maintain the quality of the print throughout production thus maximizing throughput and yield. The course progresses in units, from basic theory right through to process optimization. It also provides the opportunity to review a process and identify areas for improvement.
Course Content:Stencil Print Theory
  • Describe the critical steps of the stencil print process
  • Identify the Critical Success Factors
Product File and Machine Basic Set-up
  • Program basic machine setup parameters
  • Create a new product file with minimum parameters
  • Setup Fiducials (including Video models)
  • Achieve best alignment using print offsets
  • Set up basic process parameters to ensure good print
Best Working Practices
  • Correctly select, use and maintain process hardware
Process Maintenance
  • Copy and delete product files
  • Maintain the process in real time
  • Maintain the print environment
  • Test and optimise the under screen cleaner settings
Product File and Machine Optimisation
  • Design strategies for the use of the Under Screen Cleaner, Automatic Paste Dispenser and Paste Knead function
  • Optimise machine setup parameters
  • Provide a definition of all advanced product file parameters
  • Optimise process to achieve good prints at higher throughputs
Troubleshooting and Process Review
  • Identify causes of print defects
  • Identify causes of machine error messages
  • Review a screen print process using the checklist

Objectives

To ensure the customers technical staff are capable to:


Work on the TQ Printer using Health and Safety directives and are aware of hazards present.

Understand how the machine works to technical level including the Numotion Control system, PSU crate, Pneumatics

Understand the Preventative Maintenance schedule and tasks, and introduce the Job Cards

Reloading Station Software, important software files to backup

Fault find to assembly level using software tools (Diagnostics, Watch Mode), hardware tools (DVM, etc)

Use of Log file viewers (YATS and GMP Error Log Viewer), Escalation (SOS Capsule)

Complete calibrations and settings (note where jigs are required)
Understand machine relocation requirements (Instruction manual)

Course objectives:Upon completion of this course the students will be able to understand the advanced functions of the various editors within SIPLACE Pro and also how to use the tools provided by the Optimizer toolkit. Additionally they will be able to utilize the SIPLACE Tools of SIPLACE Pro to understand the advanced functions of the various editors within SIPLACE Pro. Furthermore the students will have an overview of the software options: Alternative, Components, Random Setup, and SIPLACE EDM. Finally they will understand how to backup and restore the database.

Course objectives:The participant knows the HW structure of the SIPLACE –digital- VISION system. He knows all kinds of Fiducial and bad mark programming. The participant knows how to program, teach, test and analyze several kinds of component shapes (package forms). They know how to check the GF programming plausibility and to correct the errors. They could decide on special requirements for SIPLACE Vision optical centering.
